Our Services
XR Immersion for Health
Extended Realities (XR) allow us to create fully immersive, personalized, natural environments for reminiscence therapies. With low-cost VR headsets, we transport individuals to serene, calming settings without leaving the comfort and medical devices at their point of care. This innovative approach is used in a variety of therapeutic settings, including pain management, stress reduction, mental health, and end of life palliative care. We are also extending our simulations to be multimodal with aromatherapy and ability to touch, stress-relieving natural objects to heighten the immersion and restorative impacts.
Nature-Based Therapeutic Research
Through our collaborations with the Clemson University Virtual Reality & Nature Lab, the Nature & Health Alliance, and clinical, academic, and industry partners worldwide, we can evaluate the profound impact of nature on mental health and well-being. Our co-founders have been ranked as the leading experts on nature and health and virtual nature based on recent PubMed research. We study the physiological and psychological benefits of connecting with nature, particularly for individuals facing mental health challenges, including those living with limited mobility, chronic conditions, disease, and illness.
Nature and Health Consulting
We regularly give seminars and educational workshops on nature, health, technology, and palliative care to leading universities, healthcare institutions, and industry partners interested in advancing their evidence-based interventions. Through these partnerships, we are expanding the boundaries of what is possible, combining academic knowledge with cutting-edge technology and medical innovations to create scalable, impactful solutions for mental and physical health. This approach is also allowing us to integrate diverse perspectives from around the country and world, creating a more holistic framework for developing the future of ecological medicine.
